James Canady was born in about 1753 in Pennsylvania or Maryland. He married Rebecca Spurgeon, daughter of James Spurgeon (1699-1790) and Susannah, 3 January 1780 in Bedford County, Pennsylvania. He died in 1823 in Bourbon County, Kentucky. His son, James Kenady and wife Matilda Browning, moved to Floyd County, Indiana in 1816. Anthony Hall was born 11 March 1751/52 in Northumberland, England. His parents were Anthony Hall and Mary Heppel. He married Ruth Butler 23 December 1794 in Halifax County, Virginia. They had eight children. Anthony died 14 December 1846 in Letcher County, Kentucky. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Kentucky.
