William Ingram (1836-1908), son of John Ingram (1800-1881) and Penelope Fraser, was born in Banff, Scotland. He married Magdalene Shakelton Paton (1838-1914), daughter of William Drummond Paton and Isabella Christie, in 1858. They had ten children. He died in Pomona, California.
