John Rowland Jones (1844-1908) was born in Carngiwch, Caernarfonshire, Wales. He married Jane Roberts, a widow with one son. She died before 1877. He married Anna Maria Hutchinson (1853-1880) in 1877. They had two children. He married Henrietta Louise Rudd (1864-1941) in 1886. They had one daughter.
