Description
Johan Bernhard Hertzog was born 23 November 1707 in Sandhausen, Germany. His parents were Hans Heinrich Hertzog and Katharina Kreyenbuhl. He married Maria Saloma Meyer. They had six children. They emigrated in 1752 and settled in South Carolina. Maria died before 1755 and Johan married Anne Mary Ulmer, a widow with three daughters. They had one son. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, Texas, Missouri and Utah.
