Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the O'Dell (and variant spellings) families who came mainly from England, Ireland, and Scotland. The surname supposedly originated as Wad Hyll, Wodehull, or Woodhull, and evolved into Odell or O'Dell. Some ancestors lived in Maryland, New York, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia in the 1700's. Some moved into New Brunswick, Canada. Later descendants also lived in Arkansas, Michigan, Missouri, South Carolina, and elsewhere.

The Odell Family Association was founded in 1982. The Association published "O'Dell diggin's" from 1982-1996, and "Odells: lost and found from 1997-2000.
