Description
Edward Grannis (ca.1630-1719) immigrated from England to Hartford, Connecticut during or before 1649. He married twice, first on " ... on May 3, 1654, Elizabeth Andrews, daughter of William Andrews of Hartford and Farmington, Conn.; married second in 1662 Hannah Wakefield, daughter of John and Ann Wakefield of New Haven, Conn. Hannah died in New Haven in 1711."--P. 11. Edward Grannis died in New Haven, Connecticut on 10 December 1719. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky, North Carolina, Indiana, Michigan, Iowa, New Jersey and elsewhere.
