Description
Family history and genealogical information about the descendants of one Thomas Pettus (or Petty) who came from London and became a citizen of Norwich, Norfolk Co., England ca. 1420. Descendants lived in Norfolk Co., England until the early part of the 17th century when one Thomas Pettus (born 1608) immigrated to America and settled the Pettus (or Petty) family in the state of Virginia. The English male descendants of the Pettus (or Petty) family became extinct in England in the year 1772.
