George Miller was born 17 September 1763. He married Mary Eleanor Phipps (1763-1846) 24 March 1785 in Montgomery County, North Carolina. They had eight known children. Their son, George, married Christina File, daughter of John File. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Germany, New Jersey, North Carolina and Illinois.

Benjamin Maple Sr. was born circa. 1663 in Ipswich, Suffolk County, England and died in 1727 in New Brunswick, Middlesex Co., NJ. He married Elizabeth Lee on 4 June 1695 in Burlington County, New Jersey. Benjamin was an early settler of Maidenhead, Burlington Co., NJ and progenitor of the American Maple/Mapel family. Descendants live throughout the United States.

Johann Nicholaus Heinrich Kress was born 12 May 1721 in Steinau on the Road, Heßen-Nassau, Germany. His parents were Johannes Peter Kress, Sr. and Anna Elizabeth Muller. He married Catherine Eberhardt in about 1755 in Pennsylvania. They had twelve children. He died in about 1783 in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in North Carolina, Illinois and Missouri.
