Description
Robert Smith (1626-1693) immigrated to America in 1638. He was born at Kirton, Lincolnshire, Eng. and died at Boxford, Mass. He was possibly the Robert Smith who was an indentured servant to John Whittingham. In 1656, he married Mary French and they were the ancestors of Joseph and Hyrum Smith, as well as of the author.
