Jan Martense Van Alstyne (ca.1623-ca.1698) emigrated from Holland to New Amsterdam, New York during or before 1655, married Dirckje Harmense, and moved to Albany, New York about 1689. Descendants lived in New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin, South Dakota, Minnesota, California and elsewhere.

Thomas Pendleton, his parents Jonathan and Hannah Wallwork Pendleton, and his wife and children left England and came to America in 1849. Claes Cornelissen Van Denburgh, probably an emigrant from Holland, lived in Beverwyck, New York in 1652. Cornelius H. Vandenburgh IV (1766-1822/1823) was a direct descendant in the fourth generation, and after his death, the family moved to Hillsdale, Michigan. Descendants and relatives lived in New York, Michigan, California, Arizona and elsewhere.

Peter Danielse Van Olinda was born in about 1640. He married Hilletje Van Slyck, daughter of Cornelis Antonissen Van Slyke (1604-1676) and Ots-Toch. They settled in Schnectady, New York. They had three known sons. Peter died in 1715. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in New York, Pennsylvania and Iowa. Includes Huth and related families.
