Description
The Clevenger family of Clayton, New Jersey were, for over a hundred years, considered to be some of the best glass blowers in the state. In 1869 William Henry Clevenger went into the glass industry. He was followed shortly thereafter by his three sons, Henry Thomas Clevenger, Lorenzo Clevenger and William Ebert Clevenger. They eventually started Clevenger Brothers glass company which operated until 1965.
