David L. Komienksy and his wife, Elizabeth, immigrated to St. John, New Brunswick in 1890 from Lithuania. He later changed his name to "Cummings." His son, Nathan (1896-1985) was born in Saint John and became a prominent businessman. Nathan married Ruth Lillian Kellert in 1919. Descendants lived in New Brunswick, Montreal, and the U.S.
