William Herron was born ca. 1744 in Scotland. He immigrated to America in 1760 with his father and two brothers. William likely married in the state of New York but the name of his wife is unknown. Johann Baltasar Kramer emigrated from near Frankfort in the Palatinate [Germany] in 1773 and settled at Manheim, Pennsylvania. He married Margreda(Margareth or Margaret) Eliza Berta Volsin in 1774. Richard Knowles (1787-1859) married Sarah Rostirn (Rostron?) in 1816, and the family became converts to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They immigrated to New York in 1845, and there joined the shipload led by Samuel Brannan to San Francisco, California. Descendants lived in California, Utah, Idaho and elsewhere. Harold Haraldsen was born in Norway in 1824. He married Torborg Siurds and they were the parents of eight children. They eventually came to the United States and settled in Wisconsin.
