Leon Wilson Lefler was born in Texas in 1921. He married Mary Lois Humphreys in 1945 and they had three sons. He was active in the Boy Scout program and the Masonic Lodge. Mary Lois worked as a nurse. They died within a year of each other and this volume explores the family lines of their Lefler ancestors who came from Germany and settled in the south during the Revolutionary War. Descendants now live in Texas and elsewhere.

Hans Jensen (1816-1880) was born in Haugerup, Soro, Denmark. He married Sidse Marie Jacobsen in 1840. They joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and in 1857 came to Utah settling in Salt Lake City. Carl Jonnson, son of Jons Person and Bengta Carlson, was born in Lafreestas Soken Malmohuslen, Sweden on 4 Oct 1864. He immigrated to the United States sometime between 1885-1887. He married Sise Christine(a) Nelson/Neilson, daughter of Hans Nelson/Neilson and Christine Jensen, on 8 Jan 1887 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
