Description
Humphrey Prior, who settled at Windsor, Connecticut, may have been the grandson of Thomas Prior (ca. 1580-1639), who settled at Scituate, Massachusetts, in 1634. Humphrey Prior married Ann Osborn (1647-1682) in 1663. They had two sons, 1665-1667. He married 2) Mary Whitcomb in 1686. Most descendants listed to ca. 1800 lived in Connecticut.

Theodorick Pryor (1851-1871) was born near Charlottesville, Virginia, son of Roger A. Pryor and Nancy Bland. Ancestry is traced to Thomas Rice who came to Virginia, ca. 1680; John Pryor of Hanover County, Virginia, and Theodorick Blan of Virginia who died in 1671.

John Smith (ca. 1784-1871), a son of John Smith and Jane Chapman, was born in Nova Scotia. He married Elizabeth Travis (ca. 1786-1822), a daughter of Nathan Travis and Deborah Newcombe, in 1809. They had six children. He then married Ann Shaw (died 1847), daughter of Moses Shaw. They had three children. His third wife was a widow named Charlotte Sloat. They had no children. Descendants live in Canada and the northern United States.

Family of William Neeley (ca. 1720-1782), who was probably born in Ireland or Pennsylvania. He was married to Eleanor (b. ca. 1724) about 1743/44 possibly in Pennsylvania. William first appears in Orange County, N.C. in 1755. William and Eleanor had six children born in Pennsylvania and North Carolina.
