James Cole (d. 1709) married Mary Lobel in 1624, and they emigrated from England to Plymouth, Massachusetts in 1633, having stopped for 1632 at Saco, Maine. Direct descendant Andrew F. Cole and his family immigrated to Canada in the late 1890s.

Elijah Widener (ca. 1817-ca. 1873) was born in Washington County, Virginia, son of John T. Widener and Obedience Owen. He married Elizabeth James (ca. 1817-1859) in 1837. He later married Alcey Hand in 1863. Descendants lived in Virginia, Nebraska, California, Idaho, Tennessee, and elsewhere.

Emmanuel Rouse died 15 June 1739 in Smithfield, Rhode Island. He married Anne Harris in1693/94 in Cyst Hyden, Devon, England. He married Sarah Langford in 1711 in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. They had two children, Sarah and James. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Rhode Island, Connecticut, Vermont, New York and Michigan. Includes Clark, Earl, Harrington, Lane, Long and related families.

James Coldwell was born 24 November 1836 in Guelph, Upper Canada. His parents were Robert Coldwell and Elizabeth Lauder White. He married Eliza Rouse, daughter of John Rouse and Priscilla Boulding, 18 March 1868. They had thirteen children. He died in 1914. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Scotland and Ontario.
