Jacob Goodpasture was living in Augusta County, Virginia, by 1753. He died there in 1766. His son, Abraham Goodpasture, married Martha Hamilton, daughter of Arthur and Barbara Hamilton, in 1776. Samuel Tribble (1771-1814) was born in Albermarle County, Virginia, the son of Andrew and Sarah Ann Burris Tribble. He married Mary (Polly) Martin (1772-1851) ca. 1791 in Clark County, Kentucky.
