Richard H. Hurry (1775-1844) was born in Maryland. By 1815 he had moved to Georgia. He later moved to Monroe County, Alabama. Richard was the father of six children, one of whom was Mary "Polly" Hurry (1815-1880). She married John Wiggins (1814-1864) in 1836. Descendants live in Alabama.

James Malachi Weston (1818-1872) was born in Richland County, South Carolina and moved to Alabama by 1830. In 1848 he married Nancy Marintha Andress Stephens (1824-1899) and they became the parents of seven children. Descendants live in Alabama.

Richard Cooper (1510-1566) was born in England and married June Kingsmill. They were the grandparents of Sir John Cooper (b.1580). He was the grandfather of James Cooper (1660-1732) who was born in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England and immigrated to America in about 1682. He settled in Philadelphia and raised a family of eight children. Descendants moved to Virginia, North Carolina, Kentucky and Alabama.

Chiefly a record of some of the ancestors and descendants of Leonard Locke. He was born in Somerset County, England ca. 1658, to Lewis Locke and Elizabeth Stansmore. He married Dorothy Petty in Ilminster Parish, England, 23 Jul 1678. She was the daughter of John Petty and Thomasine Thorn. They immigrated to Holland in 1685 then Pennsylvania. They were the parents of two children. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, North Carolina...

Richard Henderson (1710-1785) was born in hanover County, Virginia. He married Elizabeth Branson and moved with her family to Orange County, North Carolina. While there, he became a Quaker. He eventually settled in South Carolina. Richard and Elizabeth were the parents of twelve children. Descendants lived in North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama and other parts of the United States.

William Moseley (ca.1583/1610-1655) emigrated from Middleburg, Holland to Charles City County, Virginia, and married widow Susannah (Burnet) Blackmore in 1633/1634. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, North Carolina, New England, Florida and elsewhere.

Thomas Locke, Sr. (1680-1739) settled in Bladen County, North Carolina and was the father of seven children. One of his children was John Locke (d.1787) who was the grandfather of Willism S. Locke (1760-1844) who married Elizabeth Lyons. They were the parents of several children, one of whom was Maryan Locke (1781-1865) who married Elijah D. Wiggins (1784-1865). Their descendants settled in Alabama.

Darius Daniel Knowles (1829-1991) married Rhoda Ann Wiggins and moved from Smyrna, New York to DuPage County, Illinois and then to Manly Junction, Iowa. Descendants lived in New York, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, Indiana, Montana, Texas and elsewhere. Ancestors lived in New York, New England, England and elsewhere.
