Description
Chiefly a record of some of the descendants of Thomas Wiggins. He was born in Britain in 1614. He immigrated to America via Barbados in 1635. He settled in Virginia in 1635 and married Sarah (Sparkman?) 27 Aug 1649. He died in 1691. Thomas and Sarah were the parents of three known children. Descendants lived in Virginia, North Carolina, Texas, Alabama, and elsewhere.

Description
Richard H. Hurry (1775-1844) was born in Maryland. By 1815 he had moved to Georgia. He later moved to Monroe County, Alabama. Richard was the father of six children, one of whom was Mary "Polly" Hurry (1815-1880). She married John Wiggins (1814-1864) in 1836. Descendants live in Alabama.

Description
Amos Thames (1684-1766) was born in Northamptonshire, England and immigrated to Virginia. He was the father of Thomas Thames (1704-1758) who was the father of Joseph Thames (1726-1800). Joseph moved to Cumberland County, North Carolina and married Martha Newberry. They were the parents of William Thames (1762- 1813). His descendants moved to Alabama, Mississippi and other parts of the UNited States.

James Malachi Weston (1818-1872) was born in Richland County, South Carolina and moved to Alabama by 1830. In 1848 he married Nancy Marintha Andress Stephens (1824-1899) and they became the parents of seven children. Descendants live in Alabama.

Description
Richard Cooper (1510-1566) was born in England and married June Kingsmill. They were the grandparents of Sir John Cooper (b.1580). He was the grandfather of James Cooper (1660-1732) who was born in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England and immigrated to America in about 1682. He settled in Philadelphia and raised a family of eight children. Descendants moved to Virginia, North Carolina, Kentucky and Alabama.

He married Dorothy Petty in Ilminster Parish, England, 23 Jul 1678. She was the daughter of John Petty and Thomasine Thorn. They immigrated to Holland in 1685 then Pennsylvania. They were the parents of two children. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, North Carolina...

Richard Henderson (1710-1785) was born in hanover County, Virginia. He married Elizabeth Branson and moved with her family to Orange County, North Carolina. While there, he became a Quaker. He eventually settled in South Carolina. Richard and Elizabeth were the parents of twelve children. Descendants lived in North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama and other parts of the United States.

Chiefly a record of some of the descendants of John Fountaine following the line of decent to Elizabeth Henry Fountain Wiggins. John was born ca. 1617 and died before 1664. Elizabeth was born 2 May 1805 in Sumpter County, South Carolina. She married William W. Wiggins 28 Apr 1825. Elizabeth died 19 Sep 1881 in Monroe County, Alabama. She and William were the parents of seven children.

William B. Appleby was born in 1813 and married Eliza A. Goldsmith in 1843 at Southold, Long Island. He died in 1887.

Thomas Locke, Sr. (1680-1739) settled in Bladen County, North Carolina and was the father of seven children. One of his children was John Locke (d.1787) who was the grandfather of Willism S. Locke (1760-1844) who married Elizabeth Lyons. They were the parents of several children, one of whom was Maryan Locke (1781-1865) who married Elijah D. Wiggins (1784-1865). Their descendants settled in Alabama.

She was born in Williamsburg District, South Carolina, daughter of Thomas L. McClam and Emila Vermelle Nettles McClam. James died in Elim, South Carolina.
