John Yearsley, a Quaker, was born about 1650 in Middlewich, Cheshire, England and married Elizabeth Simcocke. They immigrated in 1700 to Thornbury, Pennsylvania, where he died in 1708.

Julia Brown (1876-1942) and John Heber Yearsley (1874-1958) were married in 1900 in Logan, Utah. He was a descendant of John Yearsley who immigrated from England and settled in Thornbury, Pennsylvania in 1681 or 1682. David and Mary Ann Hoopes Yearsley joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and migrated to Ogden, Utah and then to Menan, Idaho.

William Maxfield (ca.1810-1850) was born at Hull, Yorkshire, England and immigrated in 1819 to Prince Edward Island in Canada with his parents and their family. He married Sarah Ann Pickett about 1838, and they became converts to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints about 1844. They immigrated to Council Bluffs, Iowa (where he died). Many descendants lived in Iowa, Nebraska and elsewhere, while some descendants moved to Utah and elsewhere....

Daniel Henrich Esch, born in 1717 in Hachenberg, Hessen-Nassau, Germany, immigrated to America in 1741 and settled in Pennsylvania. He married Elizabeth Kerlin about 1743, and was lost at sea about 1746/1747. Descendants listed in this book lived primarily in Pennsylvania and the mid-western states.

Charles Hogg was 18 September 1831 in Deighton, Yorkshire, England. His parents were Thomas Hogg and Eleanor Rowland. He married Ann Stanger 26 June 1852 in Faceby. They had ten children. James Alexander Potter (1813-1898) was the third son of Samuel Potter and Judith Pipe(s) of Knodishall, Suffolk Co., England. He emigrated to Ontario, Canada when he was twenty years old and went to work on a farm in Waterloo Twp. He married (1) Mary Ann Sherrington, the daughter of John and Ann Sherrington of Doon, Ontario in 1835. After farming at Bridgeport for a few years, they moved to New Berlin and settled.
